FT Physical Therapist - Youth Sports Setting

Seeking a full-time, experienced physical therapist in Austin, Cedar Park and Round Rock for a busy Pediatric Orthopedic specialty clinic. Youth Sports or Pediatric Orthopedic experience preferred. Sports and/or orthopedic clinical experience required.

ABPTS Sports or Orthopedic Certification or residency training helpful but on site mentorship and training is available. Schroth Certification for scoliosis treatment helpful as well.

Requirements:

· Successful completion of a CAPTE accredited physical therapy program

· Current physical therapy licensure in the State of Texas

Responsibilities:

· Provide direct, one on one, patient care and management in a pediatric orthopedic and sports physical therapy setting in coordination with other members of the healthcare team.

· Work on a team directly with other therapists, physicians, physician assistants, and nurses to develop and implement plans of care to help in the rehabilitation of overuse injuries, sports injuries, and fractures in a pediatric and adolescent population

· Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by the state board of physical therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the healthcare team

· Help with community outreach and injury prevention programs focused on youth sports injuries
