Surgical Tech and Ortho Tech

Seeking qualified Surgical Technologist/Technician to join our team!

We are looking for an experienced surgical technician to assist our surgeons in the OR. As part of our team, you will be trained to fill the role of Orthopedic Technician and will be expected to become a certified orthopedic technician.

OR Duties include:

• Ensure the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field in the OR
• Perform instrument counts prior to each procedure
• Prepare patient skin for surgical treatment
• Position and re-position patient during surgery
• Help monitor patients during surgery
• Provide supportive care during the pre-operative phase
• Perform scrub functions
• Follow all federal, state and departmental safety procedures

• We need a detailed-oriented individual with a professional appearance and stable work history.
• Candidate must have have a current Surgical Technician Certification.
• Be willing to learn all necessary knowledge/skills to become a certified orthopedic technician. We will provide the training.
• Take evening, weekend, and holiday call once the orthopedic technician training is complete.
